Cancer Support Meals

17 meals

Nutrition plays a critical role in cancer prevention and survival, and people undergoing treatment with radiation or chemotherapy may experience several different symptoms that can interfere with adequate nutrition. These may include loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation, and other gastrointestinal issues.

These meals were developed to follow the guidelines of the Mediterranean diet, and chosen because they offer higher amounts of energy, protein, and other nutrients necessary for those undergoing treatment. These carefully selected meals may also be less likely to elicit or exacerbate symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort or distress.
